Savor the rich legacy of Fazenda Monte Alto with our single-origin Monte Alto coffee, where tradition meets the pinnacle of flavour.
Esteemed for its deep-rooted history spanning over 136 years and currently nurtured by the ninth generation, Monte Alto has been producing exceptional coffee since the first harvest in 1880 by the family's patriarch, known as the "Barão de Guaxupé." This exquisite coffee, grown from trees planted back in 1918—the same year Bennetts was founded—flourishes in a mountainous terrain, predominantly tended to by hand.
Embodying the essence of its heritage, each cup offers a symphony of nutty and chocolatey notes, harmonized with a clean, citrus acidity of orange and lemon. Its heavy, creamy body unveils layers of hazelnut, dark chocolate, and molasses, a testament to the meticulous care in its cultivation and processing.
Beyond the cup, Monte Alto is a beacon of community and sustainability, hosting social and educational programs for over 30 families residing on the farm and dedicating 30% of its land to forest reserves. The introduction of a photovoltaic system in 2020 underscores its commitment to environmental stewardship.
Delight in the Monte Alto coffee, a blend of history, community, and unmatched quality.
