3 bronze at the Australian International Coffee Awards for 2015

We have won 3 bronze medals at the recent Australian International Coffee Awards for 2015 (Coffee Roasting Competition). Overall there was 600+ coffee entries and accredited judges whom tasted coffee in the categories of:- Espresso- Milk- Soy- Filter Coffee (Plunger Coffee, Syphon Coffee, Pourover Coffee)We entered 2 blends in the competition, Old School & Saint both in the category of Espresso and Milk and came out victorious with 3 bronze medals.Old School - EspressoOld School - MilkSaint - EspressoCongratulations to our roasting team (Nathan, Jason & Clay) for roasting & developing these amazing blends.Images are sourced from @AuCoffeeAwards 
The Australian International Coffee Awards (AICA) is the first international coffee roasting awards for the Asia Pacific region. The awards program was first offered in 2013.Conducted by the Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), the AICA presents a valuable opportunity for all coffee roasters, large and small, to benchmark their coffee and establish their credentials in the Australian and international coffee industry.In 2014 it attracted 800 entries from 165 exhibitors in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan. Thirty three judges were on the judging panel, including Chester Tam, international coffee judge and barista from Hong Kong.In its first year in 2013 it attracted 603 entries from 132 roasters from Australia, New Zealand, Vanuatu and Mexico.In 2013 the AICA was judged by a panel of 28 experts, including highly acclaimed international barista and consultant Emma Markland-Webster with 174 medals awarded, four of those gold.The RASV is committed to ensuring its competitions are industry-relevant and continue to evolve. It actively engages with industry bodies both in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Europe and North America, draws judges from both Australia and overseas and is a lead up event for the Melbourne International Coffee Expo.The RASV previously ran the coffee competition as part of the Royal Melbourne Fine Food Awards, Australia’s premier fine food awards.Website: http://www.rasv.com.au/Events/AICA_Home/
